WELCOME
Having learnt to sail when I was very young, I started racing Toppers when I was 8. Progressing through the RYA South Zone Squad I then went on to race Laser 4.7s in the National Junior Squad, then Laser Radials and the Standard. Moving to the Olympic Finn Class at the age of 15 created a new type of challange, one which helped shape the man and sailor I am now.
The decision to remove the Finn from the Olympic roster cut my dream short, but also put me on the path I am on now. Loving my racing again, i'm active in the international 14 fleet and the Finn fleet, competing internationally, whilst also developing my skills on yachts as I pursue a career professionally sailing and coaching.
I hope that you'll find my website informative, interesting and hopefully entertaining, as I aim to give an insight in to my sailing life. Whether you're a supporter, a potential sponsor or a young sailor looking to embark on your own competitive journey, I'd like to give you a glimpse of the highs and lows and the frustration and elation that I'll experience in the coming years.
